Carnival rides and games, barrel racing, rodeo court, corn dogs, cotton candy, 4-H Animals, Country Music and beer gardens. It sounds like a 100 Year Celebration to me.  2015 marks the celebration of both the Warren Grange & the Columbia County Fair & Rodeo.

100 years ago, Warren Grange started a partnership with the Columbia County Fair & Rodeo. Warren Grange operates out of the 4-H Pavilion  on the fairground.  This 100 year celebration will draw many people to the Columbia County Fair & Rodeo which runs from July 15th – July 19th, 2015.  A special opening ceremoney for the Fair will began at noon on July 15th to honor the orginal stones that were moved to the current fair location from the original location on Deer Island and to kick off the celebration.

Want to keep up with all the events, you can follow the fair  schedule on both their website and facebook pages. 2015 Columbia County Fair & Rodeo Calendar of Events and Follow events for the fair on Facebook.

This year John Micheal Montgomery will  preform July 15th.  While the VIP tickets are sold out, general admission is still available at local businesses like Chubb’s and Skinny’s in St. Helens. Groups such as the Columbia County Fair Board invite you to not only attend but to get involved.  They are even reaching out to kids to help volunteer.  Other groups such as Pacific Northwest Works have a call for volunteers for the Annual Plant Sale prep on July 14th whose proceeds support the fair.  Contact Pacific Northwest Works at 503-397-6495 to volunteer.

Let’s keep the fair going strong for another 100 years as it’s another great Columbia County annual tradition that helps create new memories, see old friends and pull a community together. #DiscoverColumbiaCounty #ColumbiaCounty
