ST. HELENS — A benefit car show and pin-up girl contest will be on Sat, May 18, at St. Helens High School, 2375 Gable Road.
The event, hosted by St. Helens High School student Madi Karol-Chik as part of her senior project, will feature vintage car displays, live music, vendors, and contests with prizes. The St. Helens car club Pan Draggers Customs also will have members’ cars on display.
The car show is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the front parking lot. The entry fee is $5 a car (same rate applies to vendors). Proceeds benefit a trip to the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Ore., for the high school’s marine biology students.
The pin-up girl contest will be held concurrently with the car show. Contestants will be judged on hairstyle, outfit, stage presence, overall presentation and crowd appeal. There is no fee to enter.
