Nob Hill Nature Park has a new entrance from the walking path along the Columbia River downtown St. Helens (old venner plant property down by the Dockside Resturant). You can also use the entrance across from the St. Helens Public Works building over by the National Guard Armory. This is a great place to explore natural paths and small hills.

St Helens, OR – Local business, Pure Serenity Massage, LLC has consistently been adding services to their business since they opened in October 2007. Starting as a massage business, they are now offering fourteen different types of massage and expanded services to include Facials by licensed Estheticians, Eye Lash Extensions, Spray Tans, Essential Oils, Foot Reflexology, Ear Candling and now a Float Tank. They have expanded to a one-stop shop for health and wellness.
Pure Serenity has the only float tank in Columbia County which provides Floatation Therapy. Have you heard of this new health trend called floating? The concept is sensory deprivation to take away the stress and distractions in life. You lay on your back in 98 degrees Epom Saltwater in a soundproof and lightproof tank to create a balance allowing your body to feel like it is “floating” depriving your body of any sensory activity. Below is a YouTube Video that explains what it is and how it works found on Pure Serenity’s website.
The owner, Kayla Mixer, shared she decided to get a float tank because “We were hitting our 10 years and I was wanting a float tank for 3 years. It was always in the back of my mind I finally pushed forward and did it. We love the idea that the facility can be a one-stop shop and a float tank is a great addition to massage and skin care. A float right before a message is amazing!!! So many benefits to floating I’m so happy to have the first float in Columbia County.”
Over the past few months, they have also revamped their skincare department. Kayla wanted to bring in the best product and a new high-end microdermabrasion machine. She explained that her lead, Esthetician Michelle King, used to work at ski resorts and with plastic surgeons which helps add to a new skin care department that is top of the line and amazing results. Pure Serenity is hosting an upcoming Customer Appreciation Event for current and new potential customers on December 15th to view the new product line, meet the Estheticians and enjoy refreshments.
