Business Bits: New Food Carts in St. Helens

St. Helens, Oregon – Offering a variety of cuisines is just one benefit of Food Trucks.  Over the last few months, three new carts have opened between the two different food cart pods in St Helens.

Big Cart Food and Brew, 175 Bowling Alley Lane, had Double D’s Drip n’ Donuts open this winter. They make cake donuts on-site and drizzled with your chosen toppings such as chocolate sprinkles, coconut, lemon, raspberry, and many more flavors to choose from served to you piping hot. Go early as they often sell out.  They will start staying open for lunch to serve hot dogs.  The Big Brew will be selling beer, cider, hard seltzers, and wine from the log cabin to enjoy in the picnic area or bring your growler to take your beer to go.  These new food carts have joined their neighbors below, click on the link it will take you to each Facebook page with menus, hours, and contact information:

Located at The Food Pod, 305 S. Columbia Blvd, new truck Kimbo Spice joins Eat George’s and Hallow’s Woodfired Pizza.  Kimbo Spice uses local sustainable food from four farms in Columbia County to meet its mission of serving up quality food.  On the menu, you’ll find a variety of Rice Bowls, one featuring extra fried crispy chicken tossed in one of three sauce choices.  Their menu also has Snacks/Add ons like a fried egg, lettuce wrap, Kimchee, Carrots and Daikon Pickles, and more.  View their full menu on their website, click here.  Open Friday-Sunday 2-7 PM.
